Is anyone else here sick of hearing contant bragging on the stupid 650 Prairie? Thats all I've heard since the Sp700 and 660 came out is how much better the freakin Prairie is. I think they are just pissed cause they had the king of the hill for a few months but forgot to put IRS on it and now its old hat. "Its sportier! Its sportier!" So what! Its a freakin 600lb. 4x4. Its supposed to be a utility quad. I would like to see what has sold more so far, the Prairie or the ATV of the YEAR!!!! 700 Sportsman

BIGBADCAT~
I have not ventured into the polaris forum for a while and had forgot how Testy the Polaris guys are. Just because you probably have close to $8k in your 800 lb beast doesn't mean you have to be jealous. Not everybody needs a pure utility machine. If I look at it from my point of view, you're 700 is not really the best utility either. A true utility machine would have an auto clutch like the Suzuki King Quad. Having a hitch on an IRS machine is pointless because increased hitch weight will take away from ground clearance. If you take your mighty 700 on the trail, you'll be left in the dust by the "sportier" prairie because it has a stronger engine and about 20% less weight. Even if you did compare the number of prairies to 700's, it would probably be pretty close. I guess a lot of people think the biggest is always the best. maybe it is for something, but I don't know what that is yet.

I used to post some here in the Polaris forum, but some of these guys will bite your head off if you mention anything that offends the one and only almighty Polaris. At one point I was thinking of going with a Polaris, but I just couldn't bring myself to get one for some reason. I was riding these Jap bikes way before Polaris even thought about a building a quad. I've always had this impression about Polaris---> they look like something that Sears sells with a Briggs and Stratton in it. I know that I'm going to someone fired up with this, but I'll just get on my OVER BRAGGED ON PRAIRIE 650 AND LEAVE YA BEHIND!!

Just having some fun with my earlier post. I can't say how good Polaris is or not,I don't have one and have never rode one,for that fact I've only seen 2 of them out riding. There isn't very many Polaris quads here where I live,so I really know nothing about them, but I still can't get that Sears thing out of my mind LOL!!
