Does anyone have a pic of the aluminum tube installed on thier modified air box using the RCR air box mod.? I got the stage 1 installed and cut the necessary holes to modify the top of the air box, but haven't installed the tube yet. If you have a pic of one installed, could you email it to me or tell me where you might have it posted? Also, without installiong the 3" tube, but making the rest of the air box modifications, just how much of a difference does the tube really make as opposed to having it in? Has anyone tried a before and after like this and if so, which thread could I find it under? Been doing a lot of reading, but haven't found anything yet. Thanks everyone!

Without installing the "tube", you're really not letting enough air into the box. I doubt that cutting the other holes will do much without it.

I got my carb bored and an airbox kit tonight from rcr and cut the boot at the 2nd rib, Wipe a little wd40 around the boot and push the tube in from the back, Its alot easier, I went ahead and cut the divider all the way out of my box though, I figured if water gets through the holes whats the difference if the divider is all the way gone, I cant wait till tommorow to give it a full speed run
