I have a 01 trail blazer with a bunch of mods listed blow. They total around $2000! It has about 70-80 hours on it. How much do u think i could sell it for? Thanks!!!!

ive had owned and sold most every brand of quad polaris was the hardest 1 i ever tryed to sell i took about beating on it.

 

Resale is usually only good on performance quads or 4x4 with racks. If you have a polaris 500/400/250 scrambler its kinda in between, so they usaully suffer. but they are still good bikes.

I'll have to agree with the other folks, you won't get what you put into it. If you did the mods yourself, you'd be better off selling it yourself.

Unfortunately, a lot of buyer's guides urge buyers to stay away from machines that have been modded, unless the seller can provide proof that the mods were done by a professional service tech. If the seller can't, then you're advised to pay fair market for the machine.

I know that sucks, but that's kinda how it is. If you try to trade it in you'll get robbed, especially if you don't go to a Polaris dealer.

 

I bought my first Polaris SP500, a '96 model, for $4000 used with 350 miles on it. I rode it for a year and put several miles on it. I don't remember but it didn't have 750 miles on it when I sold it. I got $3900 when I sold it. It was in real good shape. Here in WV Polaris is not as popular as other quads, but there are a few, so I sold mine on Ebay. Now heres the kicker, the buyer wanted it so bad he paid to have it shipped from WV to Colorado. It cost over $600. I hated for him to have to pay that much but he didn't want to drive at all to pick it up and he wanted it shipped to his house. That costs a bunch. But it just goes to show that Polaris is a very popular quad overall, and if yours is in good shape when you go to sell it, you should do ok. Maybe you won't ride it for $100 a year like I did, that's just pure luck, but you should do ok. I have to respectfully disagree with the previous posts, at least here in WV, utility quads sell MUCH better than sport quads, and bring higher resale values. Sport quads around here are known to be ridden hard and not taken care of as well as some older hunter or farmer will take care of his utility quad. That's just what I know of my area, maybe it's different elsewhere.

Check out the kelly blue book values on their web site .Look under motorcycles then polaris then look up your model.This will give you a rough idea whats its worth. I had a 2000 335 polaris sportsman and traded it in in Dec for a 500ho sportsman the book said the value was 3500 they started at 3500 then deducted for a couple plugs in tires rack cracked etc,etc ended up at 3,025 for trade in.Purchased the 335 new for 5100 out the door. Hopes this helps.
