Will a 20 inch tire affect my acceleration or top speed on my scrambler 500? Should i go with the ohtsus(stock honda 400) or something like the holeshots. I mainly do duning and some hard packed. But im not interested in paddles. Will 22 inch tires affect anything? Should i get 8 inch or 9 inch rims? any tire combo suggestions?

Sorry for all the ?s but i need some new tires and rims bad.

22 are stock on the rear. If you go to a 20, you will pull harder of the line, but run out of speed unless you change your gearing, then all you have achieved is lowering your clearence.

Holeshots are the best all round tire for dirt, but crap in the sand.

Tyson,

There will be a roughly 10 percent loss in speed going from a 22" tire to a 20" tire.
