I have a crappy EPI utility clutch kit that I'd like to add a little better "stall" to, to make it a little more aggresive. I ride from 2500-5000 feet in elevation. Any ideas?

Hey Maximus. Overall, for the money, not very impressed. I did get better higher elevation performance. It seemed like I lost a lot of felt power at 4K+ feet in elevation prior. I guess the bike was set up for 0-2000 feet (so they tell me). It did also provide a little smoother overral performance, but I want something a tad more aggresive. I'd like to be able to be riding at slow speeds and be able to hit the gas and bring the front wheels up (for example, on whoop-dee-doos). I have too much lag time now and can't get the wheels off the ground if I'm moving at any speed, other than a snail's pace.

Anyone have any cheap fixes? I don't recall what springs I have without tearing into it.

did you try epi and see if they have any hint they put the kit together so it would be hard to guess what to do talk to glen and tell him what you want frist then go at it your self if that does not work but i think he will work with you just my two cents

Not sure which springs yet, but thanks for the input. I plan on tearing into it this weekend, doing all the fluid changes, belt inspections, etc. so I can hit the Moses Lake dunes while I'm waiting for all the snow to melt in the mountains.

I will definately call them and see what my options are. I haven't been on this forum since I bought it, it seems like, but I have seen Rick Ritter's rave reviews, so I will definately talk to you as well!
