Got my 400 Scram all apart right now, going through things before spring....changed the reeds to Boyesson's and they recommend going down one or two jet sizes. Just wondering what the stock jets are for that machine. It has a 220 main in it now and a 30 (hard to read....) pilot in it. Stock engine, stock carb.

Ask your dealer and see if he can help.

All the Scramblers I've ever seen have had a 230 main jet, and a 30 pilot, but when I opened up my carb last month, and I had a 240 main in mine with a 30 pilot. I live in Texas, and am around sea level. I have a RCR stage 1 kit, and now have a 270 main, and a 35 pilot. But plan on going to a 260 in summer.

Oh, yeah, and do new reeds really need to be jetted down, or do you mean up?

Thanks for the reply Adam. I live in central Alberta around 3000 feet elev but I ride mostly in the mountains from 4000 to 6500 feet. I think I may lean down to a 25 pilot and a 200 main jet.....see what happens.
