Any 700 owners have any problems with their quads. My friend said his buddy has a 700 ans it goes 80! I didn't believe him for a moment. The thing is all stock to.

Maybe 70 mph if you are lucky. No way tha it would hit 80, at least stock anyway. I haven't had any problems so far besides a cracked intake boot, but that was fixed under warranty. Other than that it has been great.

Until today my 700 had been trouble free. At one point I stopped and the speedometer needle began to flash which indicates a problem and the battery symbol came up on the display. I think this would relate to the stator problem that I have read about on various forums. I have around 400 miles on my wheeler so far. Hopefully this is one of those things they can repair properly and not happen again. I wish Polaris had the reliability of Honda or Honda had the ride of Polaris, but I guess I'll have to keep wishing. I have a 500 that literally had problems the day I bought it brand new, but the ride is so far above Honda that I would not settle for anything less than the 700. If this 700 turns out to be another headache though, the competition will have another customer.

I'll just say this, mine is 3 months old with 250 miles on it. I spend more time hauling it to the dealer for repairs than riding it. I hope they can keep it running because I do like it. I did make one mistake, I drove in some deep water (14&quot and the dealer said dont do that again.

Like anything brand new, hold off purchasing it for a year. This way most of the bugs are worked out of it by the following year. I plan to purchase one in the next 8-12 months but by the sound of things I will probably stick with my 500HO a little longer.

Fellas,
I put my 700 to the test this weekend. I drove it through swamos that were extremely deep and muddy. Way over 14" of water. I got stuck once but my 2500 winch pulled me and my buddy out. No problems with the mud or water. I did however, lose my radiator grill and cover and one rubber grommet. I called the dealer and ordered new parts. Meanwhile, I have the bottom of a milk crate cut to size with regualar household screen wrapped around it and wire tied to the front. I think my design will last longer than the factory design. I hope polaris fixes this problem for next year. The protection for the radiator is below my standards. But, I still love the machine. Word of advice for water riders. Once complete, check the air filter, check the plugs, and loosen the carburator drain plug to drain out any water that may have gotten inside. Also, throw a little greese in all the fittings. This should keep you safe....Good luck

I've had good luck with mine so far. If it had'nt been for the leaking water pump cover {easy fix} and the lack of accessories, I would have given it a 10!
And the deep water issue...... I have to cross water over 14" just to get to the "REAL" water/mud holes.. lol

My wife and I went rideing today and she snapped a few pics of the 700 in some pretty deep mud {had to winch out} and also a couple of pics of me driveing in the lake. TAKE A LOOK....

I had to winch out my first time this weekend in NH. I guess even the mighty 700 can get pretty stuck. Great pics. I wish I had taken some.
