Yes Mike,
We did the outer loop....it was not that extreme but 10 miles long. There were at least 30 trucks and trailers in the parking lots. We had a blast....My friend steve(shadowscrambler) and I went. We have gone to Paragon, Tower city, Bald Eagle state forest and some others and we rate Sproul State Forest in the top 3! Sproul is not that extreme though...just lotsa mud...some hill climbs...and some long straight stretches(to check top speed). It blows my mind how many 2 wheel drives there are out there. I could not imagine going 4 wheeling with just 2 wheel drive. Steve did go into one mud puddle and I was sitting there watching as he sank up to the gas tank then the bike started to flip and he jumped off into waist high mud....I was laughing my butt off as I ran to help him with my tow rope in hand.
I would definatly recommend Sproul State Forest though...there alot of nice long distant views and alot of nice guys that ride up there.

Hows is Susquehannock? And where is it!

Steve and I want to go riding with you sometime.

The Ghost,

It isn't too hard riding a 2x4 through most of the stuff we ride in, just stay out of the unknown mud holes and you'll be fine. Still, you might be surprised where you can take a 2x4. I like blasting my way through the forests at full speed too. Unfortunately, Celeste doesn't ride as fast as I do and I have a bigger carb (39mm) on mine so that kind of limits the range I get when riding that way.

Susquehannock will be a bit of a dissapointment for you if you are looking for mud. Lots of smooth trails just waiting for you to fly down them. Any mud holes that are there all have a solid bottom to them. It's obvious that they take great care of the trails up there. I've actually seen (are you ready for this?) TRAIL MAINTENANCE going on up there. The northern trailhead is about 6 miles east of Coudersport on rte 6. Just look for the Polaris shop and you're getting close. It's by the ranger station. Check out this website: Potter county trails

We'll see if we can hook up with you guys sometime this year.
