Does anyone have a like or dislike for the new spot for the winch? The 700 doesn't accept the tube bumber on the front making a spot for the winch underneath?
I don't particularly like the looks of the winch up there. I am planning on buying a 700 in the next couple of weeks.

I just had my dealer install the polaris 2500 winch on mine, the look is OK, not bad nor good just ok. I do think the winch plug in socket on the head light pod is ugly, has to be a better place for it. I tried it out yesterday winching some dead trees of my creek, the brakes whould not hold, I ask my dealer if its safe to put it in park from now on, his reply was yes the only thing that might happen is you could break some kind of pin in the transmission....dam
thats nice to know. Also under heavy loads the battery sign comes on.

I like the new winch position better. It stays up and out of the mud. Keeps me from having to dig down into the mud to get the hook when I need it.

If you need a winch and a plate for that 700 go to www.candssales.com they have it in stock. It has two plates one for the winch and one for support. The winch are on sale with free S/H.
