Got a bit of a prob, got so pi$$ed with adjusting rear brake all the time I took the whole thing off. Only prob is for any races or trail rides over here you have to have a rear brake...(silly me).
Had to remove foot brake linkage after fitting nerfs.
I have just got hold of an extra gen polaris hand brake with master cylinder, is it pos to run the rear brake off hand control only????
Do I need to mod caliper to suit?

stinky,
Yes it's possible to run the rear brake off the left hand brake lever and the front brakes off the right. Two of my three quads have this set up. Did you take the caliper off along with the emergency brake? The mechanical emergency brake is just that, an emergency brake. It shouldn't be used for normal braking as it tends to go out of adjustment pretty quickly.

I run a rear brake only on my Sport.
Using an aftermarket lefthanded master cylinder, I run a 40" SS braided line to a "T" fitting. From there I run 2 36" lines into the rear caliper, and wholla.
I also completely removed the front lines/caliper and had the hubs and strut housings machined down as well to save weight. Scroll through the pics in my link at the bottom to see pics of the set up.

Thanks guys,
My bike has caliper & disc mounted on stub axle coming out of the right hand side of the crankcase, I would rather get a late model TB axle mounted setup but money is the prob at the mo,
I have removed linkage coming out of the caliper to run foot brake, do I now make a blanking plate to block off hole?
Also caliper is off bike & carnt spread pads?, guys any tips on how??
Thx heaps.
