HPD pipe and clutch kit
#2
Ryan,
I've got the HPD pipe on my 99 trailblazer.
I think it works very well and it gave it a significant boost in power. I've got the Hotseat clutch kit which includes there Helix and weights.
That combination alone will produce wheelies without pulling up on the bars.

My choice would be the RCR pipe kit which includes the necessary jet, UNI air filter and front spring. I would ask Rick to include a Polaris Orange spring instead of the HPD plain he uses. I like the higher engagement and think it keeps you in the powerband better. I would also ask him for a stiffer secondary spring.
From my experience with the TB you don't need to go to the expense of changing the entire clutch.
An exfriend had a 2000 TB like mine with the Hot Seat clutch kit and pipe. I was able to beat him in any kind of race from coming off the line to topend.
I also like the aluminum silencer on Rick's setup compared to the steel one on HPD's.
