I was at the Con/Agg show in Vegas at the beginning of this week and spoke to a Polaris employee that is in the engineering department. Keep in mind that he is in the North plant for mostly the construction ATVs, but he said he interacts with the Recreation guys about once every two weeks.

He said he didn't know a thing about it and that there had been all sorts of rumors flying around about it. He was aware of the published pictures in the magazine that had oddball plastic on it, too, but that was a line of rumors, as well.

They have looked at many things and many combinations, but he had no knowledge of a true sport quad from Polaris.

You guys can form your own opinion based on that. Whether they make one or not doesn't really make a bit of difference to me, I just wanted to share the info that I recently learned.
