'95 Trail Boss question?
#1
Hi all.
I just purchased a '95 Trail Boss 250 that is in perfect shape. Still has the original tires. It was used very little on a farm checking fences and so on. I gave $1300 for it. Great price - I think.
My question is, are there any known problems that are common with this model? I just want to know what to look out for - just in case.
You can email me direct if you want. Thanks in advance for any usefull information!

I had a 94' and it had been to he@@ and back and ran like a top until it caught on fire this past december, Not sure why it caught on fire. The only work I had done to it since 94' was clean the mud and water out of the starter. and that was a job.

a buddy of mine has a 92 or 93 Trail boss and he has had some trouble with the sprockets and chain, been through like 2 sets of sprockets, this could be cause of extensive beating on... but besides that it runs great, has been rebuilt once...
