In previous posts I mentioned how poorly the HPD dampner worked compaired to the Aaen since the Aaen can be adjusted allot stiffer. Piece of advice, make sure you back off the stiffnes adjustment on the dampner in freezing weather because the fluid inside must turn to tar because you wont hardly be able to turn the handle bars it's so stiff. Anyway I think I might have overstessed mine from hitting a stump in the summer & then leaving it on the stiff setting, cold temps & really pushing the bars hard, broke the eylet bolt on the dampner. Aaen w/o any questions at all replaced the entire unit free of charge. Thats what I call customer service. They are #1 in my book. I have dealt w/ HPD in the past & I could NEVER imagine HPD replacing anything but that just my experience w/ them. Just thought I'd pass this along.

Jim,

Thanks for your comments. I have hop up kit ordered from AAEN right now and can't wait to play. (My brother has a stock Scrambler 500, and I soon will have a hotter-than-stock 500)

Many years back, I dealet with AAEN through our snowmobile shop. They always were first class.
