for me, it's a toss-up between the 700 and rincon.

the 700-i don't like what i read about the clutching being sluggish off the line and in the midrange. and i don't care about top-end speed. the lack of a back-up pull start concerns me to.

the rincon- there are 2 things i don't like. i don't want to wait two months to buy one (my local dealer said he can't order them 'till the end of the month!) my second is that if i choose the honda, i'll have to buy a new helmet and jacket concidering they both say POLARIS on them! LOL

actually, i've been saving my pennies for awhile so i think i'll get the green 700 now, and a rincon mid-summer.

i'll keep this short and sweet 'cause i'm sure everyone is bored by now and wants to get back to some bashing now!

The 700 Polaris twin is tempting,however,I'll stick to my current thoughts about shying away from Polaris because of my past two.I been hearing about waterpump [seal] leaks on the new 700 allready.The lack of a pull starter dont bother me a bit,I allmost allways never ride by myself,so help would'nt be far away.I did ride the new 700 twin.It rides excellant and the powerband is very nice to.They improved the front end[no hubs anymore]so there is no hub failure anymore.Actually,it appears like they really made some excellant updates to the new 700,but im still SCARED!

I MIGHT even sell the Xplorer real soon and buy a USED 4x4 Honda just to get me thru till I find the 4x4 I want?
