Bought my 2000 Magnum back in Feb. It had standard EBS. Checked out 3 different dealers, never seen one without out EBS. Go figure!

 

Sorry there you did not see a factory polaris setup with mudrunners on it we do not sell them like that. They come factory with goodyear p tracker tires. The dealer must have installed them. Just thought i would let you know.

 

The dealer said that polaris told him to try it and see if it sold any easier.

 

Mudrunners on a Sportsman 500 won't mean anything to a "Newbie" they will not notice them. But... you and I would sure stand up and take notice of somethin' for nothin' if we were in the market for another purchase.

 

Magnum 500's had EBS as standard production in Aprox. Febuary or March of 2000 with no increase in price. Any new unsold 2000 Magnum 500's in dealer inventory could have the EBS kit installed at no charge with the return of the old components by , I belive, July 1. The dealer received $65 dollars credit by doing so.

 

I just purchased a 2000 Mag 500 and does have EBS!

 

I have a 98 Sportsman 500 EBS and just bought a 00 Magnum 500 and it came with EBS. THey feel the same. Nothing is different. THe Mag does feel much more sporty out on the trails.
