Seating tire beads....

after you use a lot of air pressure to seat a bead,let the pressure down to what you will run and check the circumfrance of the tire with a tape because all that pressure will stretch the tire and i have seen 1" difference between 2 tires after seating with high pressure. you may have to use higher pressure to get the other tire to stretch. this is a old racer trick the get the proper stagger in a set of tires.

took about 50 pounds to seat my 27 inch 6 ply swampro's been beating them hard for a year now and there fine I will say the longer they took to seat and as the pressure went up and up the longer my arm got trying to stretch away from the tire I know the pow is coming but it still makes me jump everytime

Holy Bejesus!! 80 psi! My Razors took 10 psi to seat the bead! Spray them down with [b]Armor All [/b then slowly and Carefully add air!

Well, we had one of my partner's employees who used to work at a tire shop have a look at it. He lubed the heck out of 'em and started adding air....took 60 psi to pop. Circumference is ok and they look great on the Scrammy. Thanks for the tips gang.
