I have a 97 non HO Scrambler and was just talking to HPD and they said they do not recomend a different carb than the stock cause they have tried tons of carbs on this engine and it just didn't make a considerable difference. AAEN sells a carb and so does hot seat.

Does AAEN OR HOT SEAT's Carb really make a difference or is HPD Right?
Thanks,
Ryan Hamilton

I haven't heard of anyone that has used the 36mm carb from Hot Seat or Aaen. I have talked to a few that have used the 40mm carb & intake boot off the Scrambler 500 HO model on Sportsmans, and claim it made a BIG difference. So I don't see why it wouldn't help the non-HO Scrambler too, since it's basicaly the same engine as the Sportsman isn't it?
