I've adjusted the linkage (shifts fine), took off the rear caliper and backed off the adjustors on the fronts.

Problem is that it still refuses to stay in neutral for more than a few feet (pushing back/forth) and running will go backwards all day until you go forward just a few feet.

I've had enough and am making it someone else's problem at my local speed shop. Let you all know how simple a problem I'm sure this is, later.
