I would like some help on my Wifes 2000 325 mag that is leaking gas sometimes when it is not running. It seems to be comming out the overflow tube. I am thinking that it is the neddle and seat leaking by and I would like to know if I have to take the carb off to install these parts or can I just take the bottom of the float bowl off and complete the repair.Can anybody help??

Coming out of that overflow on the bottom of the carb? The float is probably sticking and that is there to relieve the excess fuel.

 

Dirt can get in those carbs and cause the float not to seal properly, that's what caused gas to leak out of my carb like that.
