I finally bought and installed the Warn 2500 winch on my sportsman 700. Its easy to do and works better than the 2000.

 

My Warn 2500 has been a life saver so far. We have had way above average rainfall this year in east Texas. Last time we had this much rain , I think they called it " El nino", well, this time it's more like "El Mucho Mudhole"!! We got another 2 inches of rain this morning.

I like how it mounts higher up then the old sportsmans! I think it will be easier to get unstuck if in deep mud. The mounting kit from warn and polaris are very strong and easy to install. All the connectors are the right length and very heavy duty.
