Cochranton Pa

This will be my fourth year and worth every minute of the drive. In our case there are between 30 and 40 of us going so it makes for a great time. I am going this year on Thursday. I will be at Days Inn. Look me up. Screamin350

I'll be there Saturday. May I suggest you get there early, there will be alot of people signing up that day due to the fact that there is no mail-in registration. I'm registering on the 19th, I live 2 hrs. away, and I'll be in PA. that weekend anyway, so I figure its better to register early. Have fun!

actually, Cochranton is kind of lame! There are WAY TOO MANY people who don't know how to ride...you'll see...Also, you gotta love the drunk guys on the freaking 3-wheelers getting stuck on EVERY HILL thereby causing a huge 45 minute wait traffic jam...again, you'll see what I mean.
Not to mention the enormous amounts of drunks and people guzzling beer at 7 am! (not that I mind, I'm just saying).
I mean, Cochranton is "fun" in the sense of basically seeing so many ATVs in one place. The trails get raped essentially and your tires just end up finding grooves...in some areas you don't even have to steer!
I suppose the two worst things about Cochranton are the initial idiotic wait to start as well as the insane lines in the woods caused by dopey riders. Also, I don't understand why anyone would even attempt this ride on a 2-wheel drive bike...sure, you can do the hills--but after a dozen tries! In the meantime now there are 400 bikes waiting for you to get up the hill.
It doesn't take a genius to know that the run should be broken out by 4-wheelers and then 2-wheelers as well as those outdated 3-wheelers.
Hey, this is my opinion. Like it or not. Cochranton is okay...I wouldn't go back--the only reason I'd go this year is because a lot of my friends are going too.
Something should be done about the initial wait to start. There are NO ESTABLISHED LINES---just a bunch of ATVs piled up in pseudo-lines which all form and blend into each other. There are no event coordinators walking around making lines. It's pure mayhem---again, you'll see what I mean.
