mowing with new polaris
#2
I use my 300 Xplorer for plowing and everything else and never have a problem and I am in central Texas where it reaches 100 degrees all the time in the summer. The only advice I have is if you shut it off then let it cool down before starting it back up so that the inside of the engine has adequate time to reach close to the same temp as the outside. Mow away.

Greetings,
Just interested, what are you mowing with?
I debated for a long while over a Rhino or Cycle Country bush hog versus an Alamo flail mower. Turned out they stopped making self-powered flails last year. I tried to buy my neighbor's old flail mower and found that his wife had thrown it out during their divorce.
After a major search, I found two left-overs at a dealer not far from you -- in Towanda. Very helpful people and, I must say, they had the best sense of humour imaginable for a machinery dealer. The units were semi-commercial models so I ended up paying extra for a bigger Honda engine and a few other frills, but its built to last and works great -- even when mowing at slightly higher than average speeds.
Anyway, not that anyone asked, but that's my tale of two mowers.
