I have not noticed any bad effects on the ebs. It works the same as it always has. AAEN claims that their is a 300 rpm higher engagement with the green spring and different weights, but it feels a tad bit more to me. I got used to it fairly quick and climbed some fairly steep hills last weekend with no problems. Clutch kit or no clutch kit, once I start up a hill, I do my best to keep truckin. Go for it! If I can handle it so can you. Last weekend, one of the guys in our group flipped a 400 explorer (borrowed) over backwards on a hill that no one had any business going up. The results were not pretty. He's lucky he's alive if not in a wheel chair. It crushed both the front and rear racks, blew 2 tires off the rims, messed up some plastic and bent an axle or a rim, and that's just what we noticed at the time. I think you'll be happy with it. If not It will only be a 72.00 mistake.
