My Scrambler still bogs down in water as stated in a previous post. When I bought the quad, it had a twist throttle on it. This eliminated the ETC. I rode it in water many times with that set up and it worked fine, no bogging in water. I put the original thumb throttle on and I have some reason to believe the ETC and/or wiring is cutting engine spark. There is a black wire coming from the throttle and 4x4 switch. I think that same black wire plugs into the rev limiter. If I unplug that wire, will that disable the ETC? I want to eliminate any possible way the electronics could cut the spark.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

If it goes from the revers limiter to the wire block thats the one to pull.
