I have no clue if this is old news or not, but I just found out from Rick at RCR that HPd discontinued the Ugly Duckling pipe for the Scram 500 and replaced it with a better looking, smaller pipe which still has the same HP gain throughout the powerband, 4.5HP. It costs $300 instead of $245, but besides the fact that it is smaller and better looking, it also NO LONGER requires you to cut off the mounts to install.

Is the gain even noticeable? Where is it most noticeable, low, mid, or top?
