I currently own a '99 Polaris Trail Boss and am looking at a '00 Xplorer 250 4x4 so I can go through more mud. I love the 2-stroke in my Trail Boss. I live in Northern Alabama and wander if the Xplorer, having 4x4 would overheat during the 90 degree and up summers down here. Anyone who has or knows about the Xplorer 4x4 will you please tell me how it is. Thanks

 

They only came out last fall. I got mine in October. I can't tell you about heating up. It shouldn't be any worse than your 'boss.
