Hey guys. I bought my TrailBlazer 2 months ago, and a starting to think about buying a pipe. I think it has OK power, but could use some more excitement. I was thinking HPD but my friend bought one and i want to be different than him. I was looking at DynoPort, DG, and AAEN, and would like your guys opinions on the matter. My local dealer suggests I start out with a Hotseat or EPI clutch kit before anything. Please help.

Aaron

I want some more lowend and midrange acceleration. I want to ride wheelies a little better. You can see me riding wheelies on my webpage

I've heard that Dynoport and DG dont make the best pipes for Polaris. I personally think you should go with the HPD pipe, or the RcR pipe. I would suggest that you get a clutch kit too, to match the new pipe's power. I would imagine that the Hotseat and AAEN pipes are good too, I just haven't heard too much about them. Right now I am running FTR pipes and they seem to be pretty good. They are more of a topend pipe, good for dunes and racing, not as good for trailriding because they don't have much lowend grunt. Well, choose whatever you think is best.

I have used the DG pipe and all it did was make the bike loud. Stick with those who know Polaris and you can not go wrong
HPD, HSP, AAEN, or RCR.
Also as Blazer said buy your clutch kit also and from the same manufacture as the pipe you go with so everything is matched.
Each of the above manufactures have a web site, go ck them out.
I belive you will find RCR has the most BANG for the BUCK.

Does FTR have a web page? And if so, what is it. Since yours is a topend pipe, you must have gained some speed. If you did, how much speed did you increase.

Thanks
Aaron

Someone correct me if I am wrong , but I think FTR is no longer in business. You can get different pipes from RCR, I beleive Low , Mid , and Top End. I know they offer three for the 400.

HPD has been leading polaris performance for a long time now, stick with the leader.

If you are going to hop up a Polaris do it with HPD. Don't mess with the rest HPD is the best.

Hehe I should do commercials

Like I have said before, You will probably hear a lot of different things, Most of witch have little truth. No body has tested (or will show test results) pipes like they do for Yamaha or Honda to find out what does what. All that MOST people can do is tell that what they got is good. In comparision, well untill some one goes and DYNO tests each one, we won't know.

No matter who you go with (HPD, AAEN, HSP, RCR) you will be very happy, they all seem to have great products. The best suggestion I can give you is pick a company and stick with them for all you performance needs, they make their stuff, to work with their stuff.
