Newbie to polaris, greetings all. I bought a 1996 sportsman 4x4. the piston (factory) had crumbled apart, locked up the crank. I rebuilt the motor, new bearings, seals, etc. I had my local dealer bore the cyclinder first oversize and bought a new weisco piston. I also removed the oil injector and now want to premix fuel/oil. I bought a gallon of polaris blue oil. what ratio of fuel/oil should i use? 40:1? this atv is a utility machine that mainly will be used for trail riding. Any info or input would be appreciated, thanks.

I would run it 32:1 , it should be enough for trail riding. I think the injection is alot richer. Im going to do the same on my sons Trailboss. I just smokes way too much stock.
