ya wanna go slower, hit the gas!!!....hehehe...i know what you're talking about but it is a funny concept don't ya think...those who think us 4-wheelin' dudes are nuts would get a kick outta that one..."so what you're saying is, if you wanna go slower, just press the throttle!""...hehehehe

On my machine when you go down the hills my tranny makes a different noise a whinying noise, it does downshift somewhat if you wanted to call it that. It does slow it down somewhat. I use my front brake which is also the rear brake when I go down hills.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Listen to Ken (modquad) and go with the roller secondary setup. If you trail ride at all, you need it. Been running mine for about 9 months and love it. Since there is less friction, you run a higher spring pressure and get almost instant backshift with a perfect upshift. Anyone who changes to that setup wont believe it. Just increasing the amount of spring pressure with the stock setup will make the machine overrun the target shift rpm before shifting out. You need to maintain a straight shift pattern to work well. If you dont want to buy the roller setup, at least buy the entire clutch kit and it will come with the necessary parts to work right and backshift better. Bubba
