i have new scrambler about 5 months old and I am starting to notice that it is useing a little antifreeze. It only drops from full just to just below the minimum line about once a week. Is this normal and if not what causes this.

I have noticed that my Scrambler 500 HO 4x4 does the same thing. I will keep an eye on this thread.

Are you seeing any coolant spots under the machine? If not how often have you used it in since you bought it? It might just still be bleeding the air out of it's cooling system.

Not sure if I understood your post Whitelightning74. Do you mean it goes from full to minimum level in one week? I have had mine for over a month and it doesn’t seem I have used any coolant in the side reservoir. I am wondering if mine is working correctly?

There is a tiny hole in the top of the overflow cap to allow it to drop a little fluid when it gets hot or whatever. It's normal. Look at that red cap and riight around it. Do not block this off.

yes it seems to fall from full to minimum in a week or so which is not alot, I have notice no leaks and its been run a good bit since being new. I think the hole in the cap may be the ansew simce temps around here are in the 90's it probaly evaporating.
