I live at 3500 feet elevation, and I think the Polaris is jetted for sea level from the factory. I added a K&N filter, so do I need to lean some? ALSO.. Gonna be riding at around 8000 feet elevation from time to time, what jet will I need there? Let me know if anyone has experience! Thanks in advance!

Hey Buzz!

That K&N filter may actually help out by leaning out the stock Polaris jetting. I know the Xplorer 400s come with an owners manual supplement which suggests jetting for temperature and altitude variations. Did you get one with your 250? If not check with your dealer, he would have the jetting information which you request.
