Whats wrong with weight?
#1
Everyone seems to think that a machine with high weight is bad, but i think that if the weight isn't that noticable then its a good thing for 4x4's. You need weight for pulling and working it like they are designed to do! And in the ATV magazines they always rate the 4x4's on which is the sportiest. If it goes the fastest, jumps the best, handles the best, and weighs the least it wins the shoot out! THATS NOT WHAT THEY ARE DESIGNED FOR THEY ARE DESINGED MORE FOR WORK AND SLOW TO MEDIUM TRAIL RIDES. If you want what they grade them on in the shoot outs then buy a SPORT MACHINE!!! Anyone think this way also??????

Even when it comes to "real work" power and practical weight are essential. Good ergonomics and menuaverability improve productivity too. Wonder why rubber track heavy equipment is eating all older designs alive(wheeled or steel tracked), read ALL of the above.

yes, my bike never sees work, it's all play, and it's the lightest in it's class. too heavy makes a quad akward on the trail

<< i think honda has a better name for them recreational utility >>
Ummm, then that makes Honda and Polaris BOTH having a better name for them. Polaris has been calling them Recreation Utility quads for years now. What makes that name, "recreation utility", so exclusive to Honda?
Maybe I just mis-read your post.
