i have a brand new did o-ring chain and a chain tensioner. the sprocket are in good shape. when i get on it in a deep mud hole i can here the chain pop. it will do this a couple of times. sound like it is going to break. is it to tight are to lose.

my warrior did it b4 in the mud. its gotta be the mud just packing in the chain and making it want to pop off the sprocket. once your out of the mud and the chain flings off the mud it should be ok

sounds like your chain is too tight. When you put the chain on, there was no one sitting on it. After you got the chain on, you get on it, the swingarm and rear shock does it's job and the chain stretches. It is too tight!

i did a search on this forum, and i found where 2 people were having the same problem that i am haveing and it was to lose. when i put the new chain on i set it by pulling down the rear rack to see how tight it would get. maybe i have been setting it to lose. when i am off of the bike it has about 1 inch of free play. i thought this would be the proper setting. maybe i am wrong
