I had Rick Ritter lighten the flywheel on my 99' Scrambler 400 and he said at the time he removed 13oz. I still have electric start. I would check with Rick Ritter at RCR Racing his phone number is 618-644-3211.

It made the bike snappier in the mid-range. The throttle response is instantaneous. It seems to allow the bike to make revs quicker.
