Will it be a 2003? I'm going to buy a new machine in the next couple of weeks, should I wait? Does anybody know when the new models should be at the dealers?Text

What would be gained by adding a 600 to Polaris' line up? When a 500 h.o. and 700 Sportman already exist.I think Polaris should stick with existing models and improve on them.

I've heard that the performance of the sp700 and the new 600 are the same, so they'll have to give the sp700 more performance, that'll be awesome. The 700 has potential, it's just not set up right from the factory, but it should be next year

Sorry to bust your bubble but you took the words right out of my mouth. I said that how many posts ago. Lol... Anyways, the 700 has a ton of potential, that is very true. Also, what is not set up right from the factory, besides the minor things. I mean, if you are gonna set something up the right way, it would require the person who is buying it to be there when they are building it. What is your meaning of right?

i think RINCON is onto something with the "arm ripping, joint jerking power" thing.
it would be nice if Polaris could reach that power level with the 700.
the 700 has the looks, it now needs BIG POWER!
see-ya,

SCOTTI,
you said the 600 will be 'smooth running and almost as powerfull as the 700.'
does that mean it will be fuel injected?
i'm very close to replacing my SP500 i sold last month. i am interrested in this supposed 600 and need to know if it will be worth the wait.
crack the whip and give us ALL the info you know NOW!
thanks,
-MT

I don't think anyone answered the question that I had.I really think that Polaris will screw up by offering a "600" model. They would be shooting themselves in the foot! Polaris would be admitting that the 700 is a waste of time. Why not a 700 H.O?
