Sportsman 600

i don't think a 600 would be a skrew-up. i think it will replace the 500. other than some minor changes, the SP500 has been the same for a long time.
we all know the 700 has MAJOR potential. so maybe Polaris will turn-up the heat and make it an HO.
IF that happens, you WILL have a definite power difference between the two models.
and just think, with all those new models, we Polaris guys might just stop belly-aching about Polaris producing the SAME STUFF year after year! LOL

i think polaris changes their quads more each year than any other manufacturer. Sure some people may say they produced a bad quad the year before, but at least they change it the next year, unlike others who just give them BNG (Bold New Graphics) i think they'll keep the 500, it's not like they're making a sp550, they are far enough apart to be different, after all they still made the 500 after the release of the sp400, and it's a 425cc. the 700 needs improvements, it's still nice but like you said, it has soooooooo much more potential. The potential to smoke the kawi

They already have a 400, 500, and 700 Sportsman, WHY NOT fill that gap with a Sportsman 600? I think the 600 would be the best of all of them. It will have more power than the 500, but won't chug as much gas as the Sp700. I like the idea and I don't see why it is a bad idea.
Are some people worried about a 600 and 700 being too close together? Well what about the 400(425cc) and the 500? If I were to get a Sportsman, I'd prolly like the 600 better. Why not make a model for everyone's liking??? Not everyone wants to have the biggest bike on the trail. Good job Polaris on the 600. (I am confident in Scottaboshia, obviously. It IS coming.)

To remind everybody that scottaboshia seems to be a very reliable source of info when it comes to new polaris models so if you know anymore scott let us know. And another questions what are dealer meetings like do they have new products there and test rides on new quads that are coming out?

Guys I found out a some more about the 600. It will be a twin like it's big brother but with a different bore and stroke. Same 34 mm carb but should be better on fuel than the 700. I couldn't get any power numbers other than that it was close to the 700 in power and performance.
I think it will be a good fit in Polaris's line up. Better performance than the 500HO without the stigma of being the biggest ATV in the sportsman line.
