i get one today and it look pretty good (aluminum body),it's the biggest silencer i saw for the 400 2 stroke,not too loud here but it is this big nice throaty sounding wich is a lot more obvious with that can,i like it better than the hpd race one.

 

but after a while of riding then i put back the RCR silencer,the new hot seat silencer is not great on top end power...

 

Gotta love the RCR silencer for sound (lots of it) and it's lack of weight. Personally I like my FMF Turbine Core II silencer. Sounds and looks awesome, but for being as quiet as you can be....can't beat the stock muffler.

Less sound = more ground?

 

I've been goofing around with both the HPD MT "quiet" silencer, and the new Hot Seat unit. With two of the HPD kevlar quiet kit clamps on the outside, I got the HPD unit down to 98db. I'll try to get some db numbers on the Hot Seat unit this weekend. Although it's not stamped, the Hot Seat unit does have a spark arrestor inside.

yeah,the RCR silencer is the sweetest sounding one,i don't known about fmf for polaris but i've tried some and i'm happy now with that exhaust setup (HPD race pipe+ RCR silencer),i think the new hot seat will be near 90 db from what i experienced and it sound like a 4 stroke exhaust note (new hot seat silencer).
