I just installed the new ultra light battery from HPD.
I removed the old battery and the metal bracket that it
sat in from the frame. A weight savings of about 15 lbs.
The new battery weighs 2.5 lbs and can be installed in
any postion. I moved mine up to the front,(of course the
oil injection container is gone) all I had to buy was a
4 foot long/ 8 guage power wire and strap fastener to hold
it to the frame.
It works like a charm so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx to MODQUAD----for setting the standard!!

You are very welcome Talonhawk. The X-static will push 300 amps...that's only for around 5 seconds, but having used it for over a year, it never left me dead. Gotta be conservative charging it, it recharges fast. They're supposed to maintain a charge for 3 years.
