My Scram 500 runs fine most of the time. So far after about 15-20 hours on it the engine siezes once in a while. It doesnt seem to matter if the machine is hot or cold. Could it be the plug im running isnt made for the heat in the East. Rather annoying one day its 102 then the next its 68. Im goin to change the oil tommorow anyway but I'm wondering how often it should be done on the H.O. engine. Maybe I'll do it a little frequently for a month to see if that will fix the kinks.
Thanx.

My quess is that your running a bit on the lean side. Either check in your Owners manual & see what they suggest for a jet size for your attitude/weather, or move the needle clip up or down to make it run a little richer. Like I said it's just a quess.
