Don't worry about that... The fix is as easy as shifting to reverse when you turn the AWD off and back up 5-10 feet.
The AWD system just needs that to unlock the hubs fully..
If you turn on the AWD and go for a short ride and don't actually "USE" it... Then you won't need to stop and back up a few feet.. But otherwise, its best that you do...
Most all 4WD manufacturers (automobile and heavy equipment) recomend that you back up several feet to disengage the 4wd hubs...
