Those Polaris 400 2 strokes are fast in the heavy chassis's, throw it in the predator chassis and hang on.

If someone would be willing to donate a Predator chassis to me, I'd be willing to "sacrifice" my motor! Hell, I'll even do the swap myself and add more mods to it than I already have!

The 440 cc's is for a 4-stroke motor in the 250 2-stroke class. So the scrambler 400 motor bored out wouldn't be legal. It would still be cool though.

What the heck is with "EFI" on a 2 stroke? Maybe a power valve, but not EFI! I'm not real sure,... maybe they have developed the technology to put it on a 2 stroke by now?

Instead of molding the vehicle around the class, how about molding the class around the available sport quads? I kind of believe the the Stock Four Stroke class will be the up and coming classification in moto and XC. It seems to cater to the manufactureres instead of the aftermarket. Come next year I truly believe that the factory Suzuki and Cannondale teams will dominate most classes, and that will give a big push to get the other manufactureres to support a factory program of their own. And what class do they want to support? How about one that actually races today's machines and not the 15 yo quads. ??????

Just out of curiousity, what are we talking about XC, or MX, if the limit is 440cc, why are there Raptors out there, the Raptors 660cc and the limit is 440cc? How does it work?

efi on 2 strokes is only a lil bit batter than a carb (mainly at low revs) but direct fuel injection..DFI sure makes a heck of a differnce.
an yes both technologies are used on outboards, and polaris waverunners have DFI on some models.(the really fast ones)

Arctic Cat has been doing it on their sleds for 10 years.

All of the MX series I have seen have an open class as well.
