2002 Polaris Scrambler 500 HO 4x4

Does anybody have a complete list of each zirk and the location of it? There are so many, its like the old book... wheres waldo... you just keep looking and looking.. i find a new one everytime i grease anything. If anybody has a complete list of the all, can you please share it? Thanks!

 

Here's the ones I know of and should be it.
1 Under the front plastic on the steering post.
2 one on each a-arm
3 one on the bottom of each of the front wheel sockets.
4 there is one in every joint on the 4wd shaft.
5 the axle carrier
6 the swing arm one on the right and one on the left.
7 there is a grease point on the bottom of the steering stem. you are just supposed to cover the area, (no nozzle).

On the 4wd shaft there are two heading into the wheel. One on each side at the final joint. Right around the rear brake lever there should be another one on that joint. these you will have to roll your machine to get the nozzles to move into reach when the shaft turns.

 

Let me ask a stupid question, on the back of the atv there are 2 zerk looking things on the back brake. Does that get greese or somthing else?

The easy way to find most of the zerks is to look for any pivot points(swingarm, a-arm, u joints, steering, ball joints, and axle bearing.

There's nothing wrong with that question. It's not your fault you don't know. Those two things on the rear caliper are the bleeder screws for bleeding brake fluid.

 

MadDasher- Probably a good thing you asked. Greese proly isnt the best fluid for the rear caliper.I actually asked the same question on another forum to find out.
