Well not quite,but close anyway.I was buying fuel for the sport at the local dragstrip(Darlington International dragway,IHRA) this evening when I saw a sportman 500 come out of the slow down area.I asked about atvs and the fuel pump lady said sign a waiver and wear a helmet and you can run all nightin the 1/4 mile(2200-0200)Well,I know where my new hangout is friday nite!!I cannot keep the sport from wheelieing on the sand and dirt,can only imagine what a sticky launch pad will do.Gotta get some pavement tires to.Any suggestions?Later.

A longer swingarm might help along with some nice tacky flat track tires (say that 10 times quickly).

 

on myn I would run out of top-end real fast in a 1/4 mile, it yours the same?

 

Mine or Mikes quad?I don't have a clue what mine will do on a track.I think my wieght helps on acceleration.The 400 is torquey.But I can tell my,um,girth is a handicap in top speed.
