I was wondering which tire you all would recommend for my scrambler 400. Is the holeshot XCT or XCR a better bet? I'm looking for a tire that will make it a little better with its over all handling. Thanks for the replies.

Dont even screw with holeshots.just get razrs they are a better tire and you will be happier with them no matter where you are riding.

They are both a great tire, but in my opinion, the edge goes to the Razr.
But I am also a little bias, since one of my riding friends works for Maxxis.

 

no holeshots last longer proven fact razr's may be better but they wear to fast proven fact

 

If you want ground clearance, go with the XCTs. The Razrs and XCRs only come in 20&quot; diameters for 10&quot; wheels. Not only will you be giving up ground clearance, but the rim will be an inch closer to all of the nasty stuff on the trail.
