As far as top speed it varies ALOT buy the size and weight of the rider.
My advice is to spend a little more money and get a 400 (03 400 Trailblazer or 2000-2002 Scrambler 400)

 

like polaris69 my 2002 goes like 55 so i really do think they go better than the old ones it goes better than my b/f's 2001 when he has the pipe off i think

I dragged a Sportsman 400 up a street for a quater mile and he topped out a 53. I took him on the line and kept goin so i figure 54-55. Sounds right. It optimistic though considering it's weight. I also only weighed 90lbs when this happened.

Mines a 00' i dont think theres really any difference from my machine from yours. I had a 250 xplorer that at the most topped of at around43mph and my blazer was dead even with the xplorer.

i just raced a blaster 350 and won with my stokc '00 trailblazer. u just got to take the turns. but as far as speed 50 stock.

 

actually i was talking 2 my b/f on the phone about this and he told me mine went about 52 his goes about 54 with a pipe

 

The trailblazer probably hits 50 tops. As far as I know, it isn't anywhere near the Scrammy.

Brand new 2002 topped out to 51 on the GPS. Long flat road!
