Well i own a 99 500 scrambler with the 4 wheel drive removed. It was just rebuilt 2 months ago the whole front clutch was replaced(cant think of the name, but its the one in front) It has a hpd clutch and a spare roller clutch that i had on for about a month it has a kn air filter hpd exhaust it has has ftr nerf bars on it a polaris front bumper a 2 inch extended ftr swingarm. It has ITP beadlocks with 6 ply razrs all the way around barley worn at all. HSP handle bars it also has some billet pieces on the throttle bar and handle bar clamp it also has the new style tierod ends on it. And it is also purple and yellow. I am asking $4200 do you think that is a good deal.

Hmmm, I thought the '97-'98 Scrambler 500's were purple. They switched to red in '99, and now blue in 2003.

Anyways, I think that is an OK price to ask. Depending on what condition, it's a hard call. You can't expect to get your money back for all those mods. By the way, may I ask why you are selling???

Well it was red when i got it and everyones bike around here is red so i bought purple plastic for it. Im selling because i have no time to ride it and i just fixed up a 1968 VW rail buggy and its not finished yet and thats where i waste all my time.

Do you still have the red plastic for it? I just might want to buy it off you. We got some property not too far from you in Summerfield. So when I head down there, I get off I-77 at Caldwell and take Rt. 78 12 miles east. Picking up the plastic would not be a problem for me.

Well bullgod
I guess you have to ask your self if you would pay $4200 for it. Its hard to say what they are going for in your area.
I can tell you this.
My local dealer Just had a NEW 2000 500 4x4 out of the box Clearanced for 4299.00 ($4600.00 out the door)
I bought my 2000 400 4x4 NEW of the show room floor in September of 01 for 3899.00 ($4200.00 out the door)
I just purchased a 99 400 4x4 (GOOD CONDITION) from a private owner w/AAEN stage 4 kit w/40hrs. for $2700.00
(LOAN Value of 2600.00 NOT RETAIL)
I Looked at several nice used 500 4x4 (LOW HOURS)all under $4000.00
(ALSO NOTE: 4x4 sells much easier than 4x2 on the used market.)
As far a Mods you are better of to sell them separately and put the bike back stock to sell it.

Just my 2 cents

Do you guys think i would be better off selling my beadlocks sepertately. And what would you guys sell them for the rims are about 250 a piece and the tires are bout 55 new. i Still have my red plastic but it has been trimmed a bit.

If you can get me a pic of the plastic, I'm interested. As long as none of the mounts are broken. I don't really care about the graphics. Send me a PM about that roller clutch because YES I am interested. (or email me at Sulldog15@aol.com)

The property is off of Noble County Rd. 54.
