My wife sometimes has trouble "muscleing" her trailblazer around cuz of its weight. I was thinking of aluminum rims all around and maybe an aftermarket pipe to lighten it up a bit. Anyone know of other ways, or have experience with other ways of lightening the trailblazer up? She likes the auto clutch so a different model is out.
Thanks.

You can change out the front bumper and the floorboards to a newer 4X4 Scrambler, they're aluminum, and don't cost much.

Do you know if they bolt right up? I would have figured they would be steel for both models.

Try the new Ultra light battery from HPD. It only weighs
2.5 lbs. The stock battery is almost 12 lbs. Kind of expensive
though. It cost $149.95 dollars. I've had one on mine for over
a month and have not had any problems with it. You can also
remove the oil injection system but you have to pre-mix after
that. You would lose about 8-10 lbs.
In my opinion you would have to do alot to it before your wife
would really notice any difference. Save your money and have
you wife work out more! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, they'll bolt right up. Be careful, I think the 2003 is going back to steel. Check 'em with a magnet.
