I have decided to get a Warn 2000lb winch for my 2000 SP335. Where can I get the best price and how hard is it to correctly install and hook one up. Is it worth the extra money to buy it from and have the dealership install it.

Thanks

For the best price I don't know. Check around. Just remember, what you save on cost you might pay in shipping. If you have sales tax in your state, you can save the tax by ordering out of state. As for mounting, is easier than you think. All wires have the ends on them, the Winch mount just bolts on, its pretty much cut and dry. You will have to take the seat and some plastic off to run the wiring. It wil take you some time, but its better than paying the dealer 28+ dollars an hour. The hardest thing for me was deciding where to mount the switch.

I just bought a Warn 2500 for my 00 Sp500. I found the best price from www.truckaddons.com I paid $425 for the mount, winch and shipping. Only problem, the sent the Warn 2000. I am now waiting for the correct winch to arrive. They want $249 for the 2000. You'll get good pricing, but not good service from them!
