I have A 00 Scrambler 500
Ok here is my problem
When I first start my bike everything is fine but once it warms up there is a prononced tick down in the base of my engine almost sounds like the rod is hitting the block it is not real loud but this is a brand new bike should I be afraid. What is your honest reply I still have my warranty goin please help me out
Have A Nice Day
By the way it has no hit on performance I can hit 67mph and all kinds of power

P.S I love this bike I would not trade it for 10 Honda's

maybe it's a bomb ready to go off! Kidding aside, my sp500 did this while new and after a few months it just disappeared, not sure what it was. Your comment about the 10 hondas is sure cute, does that scrambler have gold parts on it or what? At an average atv cost of $5k, I'm not sure I'd be willing to give you $50k for your bike. Sounds like a complex to me however!

Thanx for your input I was hopin it was nothin too seriuos.
As for not tradin for 10 Honda's I may be Imbelishing a little
I am the only Polaris in the group I ride with they all have Honda's out of 20 .......But that aside Mine is the only bike out of the bunch that when they take it for a drive they always come back with a sh@t eatin grin on there face and telling me how much they like it.
So you see being the Odd ball of our group I have to make sure it runs good or the polaris bashin will start but it is all in fun
Thanx Again

Hey, on my 98 sportsman, when you put all your weight on the left side of the atv, it knocks. If yours is the same, it may just be the belt rubbing the cover of the tranny.
